La vie

Something I like about animals is them being quite steady in terms of relations. With humans, you can be in close exchange over a decade only to be replaced by someone new and more exciting. When an animal is exchanging with you, you can be sure the animal is enjoying it. With people, you could be second choice, but the person won't let you know until someone better has been found and then, you're dropped. There is usually more clarity about the relationship when it comes to animals.

10 years of companionship being ended in a few seconds.

Our joint travel had started in HM, NRW, January 2012 and ended in PB in March 2022. Due to a neurological condition, he became unable to walk properly, became disabled such he could not get up and walk to the water bowl or go out for a pee. In his young days, he didn't like being picked up - which became necessary in order to help him, so I think life wasn't much to his liking and there was no hope of it improving. It went quickly from walking around happily to being more and more immobile - over the course of a few days actually. His mind was always quick and lively throughout. Paul Paulemann - Powell Lass-das. It's especially difficult to make the decision when the mind is awake and full of life - without the condition, he could have seen a few more years.
